The solar electric van

Soleva converts an old van into a solar-powered electric camper. A Swiss demonstrator for a new way of traveling, reducing environmental impact, and making the energy transition tangible.

Why Soleva

Travel has to change.

Combustion vehicles consume fossil fuels, generate emissions and require significant industrial production. Soleva explores another path: reusing an existing vehicle, converting it to electric, producing its energy locally through solar power and sharing these learnings with the public.

A new beginning

Despite the fire that ravaged the workshop and took Sunny, the first solar van, the Soleva adventure continues. The van's safety systems worked perfectly, proving the reliability of the design. After inspiring thousands of people during the Swiss tour, the team refuses to let this dream die. A new solar van is in preparation, driven by the team's passion and the community's support.
